In fact, German brews, food, you know, music, all the dancing and fun that comes with it.  It looks like the next Oktoberfest is scheduled for Sept 30th, in Pacifica. Oh, and let’s not forget the ZOOtoberfest. Lot’s of fun and things to do – hay maze, brews, dance. Of course, it’s at the San Francisco Zoo. Come on down every weekend in October.

Oktoberfest is just one of the fun things happening around San Mateo. Coming up in Palo Alto, a unique event called The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch begins, Sept 30th. Also, a lively Salsa Festival kicks off on Sept. 30th. It takes place in downtown Redwood City.

Fun things happening around San Mateo often get the whole family involved, with lots of enjoyment. Although, some events have an especially unique and enriching back drop. Take the Annual Japanese Culture Festival. You can check it out in Millbrae, Oct 1st.

In fact, even dog lovers can get in on the fun things happening around San Mateo. They can join in the Howloween Party for Dogs and Owners. Also, that event helps with animal rescue.
