Single Family, Resale Homes Market OverviewIf there is one thing June 2020 real estate activity has to tell us, its a surge in home sales. And, single-family, re-sale homes sales in San Mateo County took a big leap, compared to May sales. In fact, it jumped 47.8% from May. Although, June sales was down year-over-year (YoY). On that basis, it was down by 10.9%. June 2020 San Mateo County real estate activity included a total of 334 homes sold. That’s a contender with the average. Although since 2000, the average is still higher. It hovers at 398. And as of July 5th, there were 493 San Mateo County homes for sale. Sales price to list price ratio rose. And, it rose from 100.7% to 101%. When it comes to median sales price, it was up. And it rose YoY by 7.9%. Average price was also up. It rose YoY by 3.1%. Although, compared to May, average sales price was down by 5%. Conversely, median sales price was up 6.4%. It took about 29 days to sell a home last month.
